I had a dream about my friend Steve 60 years old. Short white hair tall muscular body, last night night! I was in his Nickles canyon house and it had a pool. I had gone there for him to get half of the water from to pool. I had collected in in a lot of buckets. lol I went in the night to get them and bring them to him. But they were guarded by a bunch of Miyazaki water spirits. The ones w the white faces like masks and black hoods. They were silently checking me out, like right up in my face. Spooky! I found Steve in the house and he was crying and I hugged him for so long. Then this big dark angry entity came down stairs. It was alex. He was so upset. 😔 But he let us take the water and go. It was a crazy dream!!
Dreams like this often combine elements from our subconscious, memories, and emotions, creating a narrative that may be confusing or bizarre at first glance. Here’s a breakdown of the main symbols and themes from your dream, along with their possible meanings:
Steve (Your Friend): Seeing Steve in your dream could represent aspects of his personality, your relationship with him, or how you perceive him. Given his age, stature, and emotional state in the dream, he might symbolize wisdom, support, or perhaps vulnerability that you perceive in him.
Steve's House in Nickles Canyon: A house often symbolizes the self or the dreamer's emotional state. Being at Steve’s house might indicate that the dream is centered around shared experiences or emotions connected to him. The pool can symbolize a reservoir of emotions or subconscious ideas.
The Pool and Collecting Water: Water typically represents emotions and the unconscious mind. Your task to collect half of the water in buckets could suggest an effort to manage, share, or conserve emotional resources, possibly between you and Steve. This might relate to something in your waking life where you feel the need to care for or support him.
Miyazaki Water Spirits: These spirits, inspired by the works of Hayao Miyazaki, are symbolic manifestations of mystery, nature, and sometimes hidden fears or obstacles. Their presence as guardians of the water suggests that there are unseen, mystical, or complex emotions at play, which might be acting as barriers to achieving a particular emotional goal.
Steve Crying and Your Hug: Steve's crying indicates vulnerability and emotion. Your long hug is a comforting and supportive gesture, symbolizing deep empathy, shared emotional burdens, or a need for healing, be it for him or for yourself.
Big Dark Angry Entity (Alex): The appearance of Alex as a dark, angry figure potentially indicates unresolved conflicts, either between you, Steve, or Alex in reality, or it might represent an internal struggle or a feeling of anger you’re facing. The fact that he permits you to take the water suggests a resolution or coming to terms with these emotions.
Nocturnal Setting: Nighttime often represents the unknown, subconscious thoughts, or aspects of oneself that are hidden. Conducting these events at night might suggest exploration or confrontation with things not usually visible during waking hours.
Overall, this dream combines elements of emotional exploration, personal relationships, and perhaps a mutual need for healing or understanding between you and Steve. The dream weaving in recognizable figures might prompt you to consider your dynamics with them, particularly if there are current emotional issues at play on which to focus. It urges you to reflect on your emotional resources or connections, as well as explore the mysterious or unresolved emotions symbolized by the mystical guardians and entities in your dream.
